Working groups take on specific responsibilities of keeping the Network organised. Each will have a ‘lead role’ whose responsibility it is to keep the working group functioning, and sharing updates at the network meeting.
Members can join working groups by joining the associated Slack channel.

- Manages social media
- Supports with internal communications (eg newsletters, Slack, etc)
- Supports with amplification of Network activities
- Supports with upkeep of organisational tools (inc documentation)
- Manages website
- On-boarding & Outreach (#outreach-onboarding)
- Building an active on-boarding guide
- Supporting new members in joining the Network
- Reaching out to potential members
- Building relationships with similar organisations (and inviting them to share in our meetups)
- Sub-group: emerging networks
- #Culture / Network Building
- Reflects on the internal culture of the Network (eg mood, ensuring everyone is heard, etc)
- Supports with peer exchange - connecting members together for learning and in-person connections
- Matchmaking - identifying people to work with each other
- Ensures that the Network is fun and interesting.
- #Finance
- Pays expenses and collectively agreed budget
- Keeps a record of budget spending (and highlights where funding is not being spent)
- Supports internal proposals for funding, and makes decisions if network is torn.
